I hope you're all making your plans to head to the Half Century of Progress show in Rantoul, IL later this month. It's going to be a big one and Heritage Iron will have a "muscle tractor corral" as part of our display. He sure to stop by and say HI. We'll have several "cover" tractors in our corral and a few others you haven't seen yet.
Issue No. 5 is in the mail so you can expect it at any time now. Our next issue is going to feature the Oliver 2255, the last tractor to bare the Oliver nameplate.
Have a safe rest of the season!

Dad and I are THINKING we MIGHT make a run to the Half Century after we are done with Portland...
Saw you for a second at the Mt. Sterling Fair tractor pull. They had Great tractors, Great classes but not so good of a track. Just to much black dirt, needed a little old clay dirt from my area. 6,000 SS class did put on a good show considering the track conditions and the high horsepower to weight ratio they have. May not make it to Rantoul but am planing to make Farm Progress Show. Keep up the good work! Thanks
The track wasn't that great at Mt. Sterling. There was nothing to get a hold of.
Quite a few people saw me in Mt. Sterling because I was the one with the state police escort into the pits so he could write me a ticket there in front of everyone. I couldn't believe! I was wearing my seat belt, but I wasn't wearing it "properly". Have to sell a couple more subscriptions to pay that one.
I'll be in Rantoul but not Farm Progress. Have to go to the Oliver show in PA that week.
